Summary

Club owner Mickey Allerton's best dancer has deserted him and he wants her back. And Fran Varady has to find her, or her dog Bonnie will be for it, courtesy of one of Mickey's bouncers. Fran goes to Oxford to see Lisa's parents, only to discover a floating corpse that lands her in trouble with Thames Valley police. Then she meets Lisa, and realises there's more to her disappearance than Mickey let on. Fran decides to help her, but she's got herself mixed up in something dangerous, and if she doesn't want to end up in a watery grave, she'd better watch her back.
