Strange things are likely to happen to Henry Hollins and his family when they go away, and their holiday in the seaside resort of Scarcombe is no exception. For none other than Count Alucard, the last of the Draculas and a fruit-eating vampire, comes along. The local police don't take kindly to a vampire in their midst and so Count Alucard has to be very careful to look after himself - and, of course, his beloved coffin.
