VisAbility’s Online Library Catalogue is the largest digital library catering for individuals with print disability.
With more than 70,000 book titles in our catalogue, borrowers from around the world can search the collection, download titles (restrictions apply to copyrighted titles) and lodge requests for existing or new titles to be converted into accessible formats (DAISY and Braille).
DAISY denoted by Digital Accessible Information SYstem is compatible with MP3 players, iPods and mobile phones. Titles are available in DAISY 2.02 format (audio only unless otherwise noted).
The online catalogue also contains the largest collection of Braille Music Scores in the Southern Hemisphere, and is accessed by more than 3,000 library clients in Australia and around the world.
The Library operates an Accessible Information Service which produces materials in a variety of alternative accessible formats for consumers on demand. Materials can be converted into Braille, DAISY or other audio formats. These services are available to corporate entities and individuals living with vision impairment or print disability.
